How we were named the Which? Recommended Provider for Private Medical Insurance
In 2023, for the first time, Which? reviewed the PMI industry for a Recommended Provider and WPA were the only company to be singled out in the results published at the end of August 2023. We are delighted to once again be the only Which? Recommended Provider of Private Medical Insurance for 2024.
The Claims review looked at areas such as the speed of settling claims, access to services wanted and range of hospitals available. The Customer evaluation examined areas including clarity of terms and conditions, ease of contact, choice of medical professionals and value for money. WPA led in both the Customer and Claims score tables with a Customer score of 74% and a Claims score of 82%.
In its review of WPA, Which? commented, 'Customers in our survey were highly positive about various areas of their experience of claiming, from the speed of claims to the choice of consultants available. It was also one of the highest scorers for clarity of terms and conditions'.
Consumer champion, Which? only endorses the best products and services and Recommended Providers are companies that are rated highly by Which? members that have made recent claims with their insurer. According to Which?, 'Recommended Providers are companies which go the extra mile when it comes to satisfying their customers'.
