From the amazing triumph of the Lionesses at the Women's Euros to Serena Williams retiring from tennis at the US Open, there has never been a greater spotlight on women's sport. Huge steps are being taken in many different arenas, including in women's cricket, so WPA wanted to take the opportunity to speak to some of the players at the forefront of the women's game about their experiences growing up and how they think the game is developing.
Georgina Clark, General Manager of Western Storm, noted, "It's such an exciting time to be involved in women's cricket, with the players getting better and better and in turn attracting an ever-growing audience. With more people following the game now, it's great to hear from a range of our players about their different experiences, as it really highlights the strides we have made forward in the past few years."
